How do I reserve an installation date?We require a 50% deposit to secure the date.

How do I prepare the plumbing for the installation.Plumbing: Have your plumber prepare the water and drainage pipes like this (applicable for both wall and floor run): This preparation will result in a nicer cut-out inside the sink cabinet comparing to not-preparing it.

Do I have to be present during the installation?No, you don't have to. However, we need your presence during the first hour of the installation to go through all the measurements, confirm that the plan we received is the correct and final plan, and pinpoint solutions should any issues arise before the work starts.

Do you protect the floor during the installation?Yes, we do. We carry flooring protective blankets.

How do you make the fillers?A filler is a piece of finished wood used to "fill" openings or gaps between cabinets, or a cabinet and any obstruction. There are two types of filler: flush cabinet and flush doors. Our default filler is “flush cabinet”. “Flush door” fillers give a custom look and requires more materials to make.

How do you control sawdust?We use a top-of-the-line Festool HEPA dust extractor that can trap 99.5% of tiny dust particles from recirculating back into the air. All our saws are hooked up with this extractor, leaving the job site (your living space) dust-free. All of our saws are hooked up with the dust extractor when cutting inside. This helps keeping our work area clean. The dust from sawing operations is trapped inside the HEPA filtering system resulting in a clean returned air.

Do you dispose of the packaging boxes?No, we don’t dispose of the packaging boxes. We will place them at a designated location on your property or sidewalk at your approval.

How do you install IKEA crown moulding (decor strips)?There are currently 4 IKEA door styles that feature Crown Moulding (decor strips with crown details): BODBYN STENSUND ENKÖPING VEDHAMN There are many ways to install them. This is how we install them The mouldings are installed with 1/8” to 1/4” reveal from the side panels and flush with the doors creating consistent shadow lines all around. The outer joint is lined up with the outer edge of the panel creating a continuous edge line. The 22.5º corner joints are matched with the door gaps. If your corner cabinet ends with an end panel. We finish Crown Moulding by following the thickness of the end panel, then return it to the wall. To finish the crown to the ceiling, we install the crown moulding first, then scribe the fillers to the ceiling. All joints are sealed with the same colour pigment.

Do you make the cut-out for the kitchen island's electrical outlet(s)?No, we don’t make the cut-outs for electrical outlets on the exterior of the cabinets. We only make it in the interior. Your electrician will determine where and how to place the outlet on the exterior.

Can you validate the IKEA kitchen plan for me?Yes. Every quotation includes a list of required panels, sizes, and quantities. You can use this list to reconcile with what you've already purchased.

What is your arrival time?We arrive between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.

Do I need to have all the materials before you arrive?Yes. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all necessary materials are on-site before our arrival.

If I don’t have enough materials that you have to go back, is there a fee?Yes. Our go-back fee is $250 +tx plus the work to be completed.

What material are the doors made of?Our doors are made with a high quality, double refined, CARB Phase 2 ATCM 93120 compliant, 3/4" engineered core. An engineered core provides a stable, consistent substrate. Component backs are thermally fused laminate (TFL)

Cleaning and care.Clean using mild soap and a damp cotton cloth, mild kitchen or glass cleaning products or denatured alcohol. Bleach (a 2% mixture) can be used as a disinfectant on most surfaces. Test on a non-visible spot before using. Avoid any abrasive materials, solvent based cleaners, harsh chemicals or any brushes or scouring pads. DO NOT USE ACETONE

Standard drawer fronts don’t have pre-drilled holes. IKEA hinge boring: Compatible with IKEA’s SEKTION cabinet and MAXIMERA drawer system.
